“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.” (Steve Maraboli). In this episode I am joined by poet and fellow podcaster, Linathi Makanda, and we talk about the importance and practice of letting go. Many of us hold on to situations, relationships, emotions, and even identity markers that no longer serve us. Whether we do this consciously or otherwise, either way, holding on to these sets us back in many ways. Linathi and I share our own experiences and struggles with letting go; and share practices that have helped us with the process of letting go. Like Beyonce says, "Thank God I found the good in goodbye."
Enjoy the episode.
