This week, we take an in-depth look at Grant Morrison's classic (and divisive) "NEW X-MEN" run. From 2001 to 2004, the Scottish writer completely upturned the idea of what an X-Men comic could be, in the most shocking reinvention of the franchise fans had ever seen yet. Less a traditional superhero story and more a warped, dark sci-fi epic, Morrison's time on "NEW X-MEN" continues to be one of the most discussed and analyzed periods in X-Men history...so now it's our turn to take a stab. The dissolution of Scott and Jean's relationship, the emergence of Emma Frost as a central X-Men character, the confusing tale of Xorn, and the introductions of Cassandra Nova, John Sublime, Quentin Quire, Fantomex and more - it' all here, as we take a look at the entire run, summarizing each story arc, and sharing some of our favorite characters, ideas and revelations. And don't worry...we promise this episode is a lot easier to follow and understand than a typical Grant Morrison story.
