Lee Zlotoff is my guest on episode 6 of the Discover Grow Shinecast.

We begin the conversation with Lee's quick synopsis of how the MacGyver character and show was born, and then we spend a few minutes talking about the value of an education that develops the ability to think across disciplines and connect-the-dots. As you know, connecting the dots between disparate ideas is one of my favorite things.

The bulk of our conversation is about Lee’s approach to creative problem solving which he’s labeled the MacGyver Method. What intrigued me about this is that my own approach to dealing with big challenges is quite similar and that’s what got me so excited when I heard Lee explaining it on the Unmistakeable Creative.

Finally, we talk about something new that Lee has in the works, Storymyn. It’s a technology to develop personalized fiction that will help someone achieve a personal transformation. Trust me, it’s worth listening through to that point in the interview. Fascinating stuff.

And Lee shares an update on the search for a new female character in the MacGyver mold.
