Blame gets in the way of happiness. Blame intrudes on your right to a better life, a more peaceful life. A life that’s easy, joyful, and in sync with your highest and best. A life where your children are happy and know they’re loved. A life where your children are well adjusted and not scarred by divorce. A life in balance.

Blame is in the way. Blame allows you to hide yourself from your self. In pointing fingers at someone else, you escape the truth of who you are. Because you’re not looking. You can’t see what you don’t look at. So, when you point the finger, you see your husband and all his flaws and faults; what you don’t see are all the ways that you contributed to your perception. All the ways that you contributed to your experience. All that ways that your thoughts, feelings, actions, and emotions, contributed to the fall-out.

The problem is that when you’re blind to your self, you are powerless. A victim of circumstance; not a leader and co-designer of your life. It’s only when you see yourself, that you can begin to take responsibility for your actions, choices and behavior. And you want to see your self, so you don’t keep showing up the same way and keep repeating the same patterns with your ex-husband or next boyfriend.

When you live on automatic pilot, your world becomes one unconscious trigger after another. Discover through divorce, the power to influence your reality and experience. the power lies within; but you need to stop blaming to find it.
