The next episode of Flat-Pack Sober has hit the internet. This time my guest is Alex Strangwayes-Booth. She’s a journalist who has worked for the BBC for 26 years.

In this episode, she talks about her journey to alcohol-free living. The conversation touches on her approach to staying sober and her love for learning.

Her sobriety came out of a desire to improve her overall health, which led her to the Facebook community ‘One Year No Beer’. From there she joined a six-week mastermind, which helped her get sober and address issues such as boundaries, stress, and playfulness.

Alex and Duncan talk about how giving up alcohol can lead to finding a supportive community and a sense of spirituality. She also talked about the challenges of social situations and the importance of finding a balance between being evangelical about sobriety and respecting others' choices.

We discuss the benefits of being alcohol-free, including improved health and increased awareness of the world around you. Alex also talks about her coaching approach, which focuses on positive psychology and solution-focused thinking.

She mentions the challenges of breaking old habits and finding new ways to relax without alcohol. We wrap it up by covering the benefits of being sober, including increased productivity and the ability to try new things.

Alex has a ton of wisdom to share with the listeners. This is an episode not to be missed. Find it on all of your favourite platforms!
