Jewish spiritual resilience teaches us that resilience is not overcoming- it is becoming. Resilience is not an attitude but a process. It can help us gain strength to become our fullest and deepest selves as a result of adversity. It reshapes us and enlarges rather than diminishes us .
Author and winner of the national jewish book award for her spiritual memoir “The Blessing of a Broken Heart” Sherri Mandell is a pastoral counselor who founded the Koby Mandell foundation, named for her son who was murdered by terrorists when he was 13 years old.

In this episode, Sherri shares her journey and the powerful lessons she learned about resilience after loss.
Sherri currently lectures around the world about grief and resilience and shares the powerful lessons she learned from pain and loss.
She is the founder and creator together with her husband of the Koby Mandell foundation:
