Sunday Solace: Values vs. Habit Driven ~ Where are YOU Now?
Hello Hello Y’all!
In the last Sunday Solace episode we discussed Metanoia, and how that is a change of mind or change of heart (if you have not listened yet, Season 3, episode 1). This week I would like to follow up with the next part of that and it is looking at our values versus habits. When you work with me individually, this is where we begin ~ at the very beginning; our habits
HABITS!
Some of our habits are a great thing, such as having coffee first thing in the morning! Hopefully, you are smiling with me on this one!
Value Driven: Being motivated by what I have determined is most important to me. vs. Habit Driven: Being motivated by past conditioning and experiences.
What exactly are values? We must first understand what values are, and how they are there to benefit us; we must move from the realm of being unconscious to conscious. When we do this, we then have choices available that previously were not available. Let’s dive into how this works!
