Jennie Williams is founder and CEO of Enhance the UK, a user-led charity that aims to help people with physical and sensory disabilities to live a full life. Today we learned about the challenges individuals with disabilities and in care homes when it comes to sexual health, loneliness, physical touch, and relationships, many of which we as able-bodied don’t even think about. And Jennie reminds us that the more we can talk openly about what life for people looks like in a care home and view these situations with empathy, the closer we get to making healthy sexual practices and sexual health education accessible for all.
