Love it or hate it, the world of weight loss is a growing one as well as the discussion around it. We are seeing the need for weight loss solutions and strategies increase over the years as well as seeing stubborn weight loss become more common. What is the reason behind this pattern of weight gain? In this episode we dive in and cover the often over simplified basics of weight gain and expand the discussion and bring in layers to the physiology and hormones that may be leading to the stubborn weight gain.

There are times where it is as simple as calories in and calories out but those who often get frustrated with weight gain have deployed calorie restriction strategies coupled with exercise with no success. There are many on social media wanting to sell you the "golden solution" to your weight loss yet they do not run testing to look at physiology to understand where your sticking points may be...this is called "a protocol" and this should make you run in the opposite direction. Everyone has unique physiology and biochemistry that is impacting their metabolic rate and couple this with everyone have their own unique environment and life story and history that they present with and these factors all need to be considered in understanding the best approach to help the individual out.

We hope you enjoy our discussion from the simple to the in-depth on weight loss. If you found this educational please share.

Again this is not meant to be taken as medical advice and if you have questions regarding your health and metabolic health please contact your medical provider.

Thank You,
