In this episode I talk about the importance of error. It’s very easy, especially with trauma, to get stuck in judging our mistakes and seeing things in a negative light. There are good reasons for that because things have been so bad and challenging that we can only see the negative. But if we broaden our view, and as we move through the stuck energy and release the pain and symptoms of trauma, we can start to see that our mistakes and errors are part of finding our true path.

We’re not just talking about what others have done to us but our own reactions, behaviours, and choices. No one gets it right every time. Making mistakes is how we learn what works for us.

So, how would it be if you saw your behaviours not in a judgmental way but as learning experiences? Mistakes and errors are part of getting to where you are now. It’s important to make mistakes, try things, and learn from them. Reflect on how things went and assess if they served you. There are no bad mistakes, just lessons that help us move forward.
