Let's face it, we live in a culture that is obsessed with results. Often that works against us when we are looking to learn something new. The cultural expectations put a lot of "shoulds" in our minds. I should have started this when I was younger. I should have accomplished these goals by this point in my life. If I was ever going to be able to do this, I should have done it by now. In this episode Jake talks about the fears of changing his life trajectory at the age of 43 ...when he "should" be financially stable and providing for his family.
