Welcome back to another special episode of the Madam Athlete podcast! On the second Tuesday of the month, I take a deep dive into a career-related topic, and on today’s episode I’m talking about how to be proud of yourself.
It is important to be proud of yourself and I'm talking about a positive pride instead of a toxic pride. And yes, I explain the difference!
The benefits of being positively proud of yourself include improved self-worth, self-respect, mood, and overall sense of well-being.
I walk through some of the reasons it's hard to learn how to be proud of yourself and share several steps you can take to get past those barriers, find your self-worth and pride, and start practicing being proud of yourself right away.
