Daniel and Marc discuss the fast-paced and at times rather bloody fantasy romp Akame Ga Kill. When it was originally released in late 2014, the show garnered some criticism for deviating too much from the original manga. Was the criticism justified? Does Akame Ga Kill the anime stand on its own?
Trigger Warning: This anime includes possible triggers for violence, violence against women, rape threats, gore, and mental health. Death and dismemberment are shown in graphic detail. These issues are topics of discussion during the podcast as well. The anime should be considered inappropriate for children younger than high school age.
