Everyone is looking for a hero. But trying to fulfill the "Ministry Hero Spot" is a blueprint to hating your ministry and losing your own identity.

In this episode, speaker and nonprofit founder, Christina Hernandez, tells her story of tragedy and the heartbreaks that have shaped her own pursuit of authentic leadership. Christina also unpacks for us the practicalities of leading from vulnerability, transparency and true authenticity that knocks over the pedestal others try to put us on.
Guest Bio:
Christina Hernandez is a passionate follower of Jesus, a wife, mother, professional speaker, and founder of Sister Life Ministries in Cedar Rapids, IA. Christina is dedicated to unity in the body of Christ, authentic community, and reaching outside the church walls with the love of Christ. She serves her church, Springs of Life, as a part of the speaking team and as a council member.

Also, as the Program Director at Chains Interrupted (her paid gig), Christina offers hope and healing to survivors of human trafficking. Christina's own journey has included many plot twists and turns over the years, which include countless blessings, as well as tragic heartbreaks along the way. These experiences have made Christina a whole-hearted ambassador of tenacious hope.
