Jim Bulluck and Danny originally talked about this movie back in May, but the episode was lost, so Jim returns to talk about it again! Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero is the second of four animated movies to spin off from Batman: The Animated Series. Originally intended for release in 1997, to coincide with Batman and Robin, the release date was pushed back a year in order to distance the two movies, after the B&R bombed at the box office. Unlike the live action B&R, Subzero paints Mr. Freeze as a complex and sympathetic villain, whoâ??s dialogue isnâ??t made up entirely of ice puns.
