Nancy is very much (eerily) like their firstborn child Leo while Max has a very similar personality with their youngest, Kenzie. This is why Nancy has no doubt that epigenetics, or the study of how parents' traumas could actually mirror their children’s, is real. In this conversation, Nancy and Max talk about parenting, and how parents have the obligation to know their children inside and out in order to treat them right.

Episode Highlights:

  • Epigenetics
  • How we treat people based on how they want to be treated
  • The nature vs. nurture of childhood traumas
  • Don’t treat your children the same way
  • And more

Quote:

“I feel like I was shamed for it growing up, and I refuse to shame my child for going against the grain.” - Nancy Anderson
