In this episode of Nick Nack Goes To The Movies, we take a brief festive pause and tackle all the CW super hero shows, mostly falling into the Arrowverse. Spanning 8 years, about 8 shows, pending on how you count it, and just as many crossover specials. This was and probably still is the most coherent and connected super hero TV show universe since the animated Justice League series. Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, and Star Girl (I count it). But if you want to get my peak super hero nerdyness, here it is on full display. We will talk the pros and cons of the Arrowverse as a whole, dive in to current shows, crossovers, and the future as it looks for these CW shows. And if you wait till the end, you will get my definitive rankings of the shows. Lastly if you want a festive surprise, make sure to listen all the way through to the end as I talk about the latest Halloween film from Netflix, Hubie Halloween.
Don't forget to check us out on all social media platforms (as well as Letterboxd.com) at either @NickNackMovies or @NickNack_IC. We have a ton of fun content that you don't want to miss to get the full Nick Nack Goes To The Movies experience. Let us know what your favorite CW Superhero show is, and if you think I was too kind or too harsh on the latest from Adam Sandler.
