We are joined by Valentin Orange, Vietnam’s best trail runner and now French based athlete and filmmaker. He talks us through his journey from working in the tourism industry to becoming one of the most talented photographers and videographers in this fast moving trail and ultra running world. He shares his insights of how this industry is changing, what it takes to find great stories and how to work with some of the best athletes in the world.

He just released his documentary about Sange Sherpa, A Life Of Challenges, an incredible story of a Nepalese porter who moved to France and became one of the world’s best trail runners. Valentin filmed him over 8 months and captured great moments in Sange’s home town in Nepal, during many ultra races and with his family and friends in France.

Valentin’s unique view of the trail industry through the lens of a photographer is extraordinary and worth a listen!
