Neil Edge is a Triathlon Mental Performance Coach and an ultra-endurance athlete.

He has played sports for most of his life where he began to understand the benefits of sports psychology in terms of performance.

Realising that the mind plays an important part in the success of an athlete’s performance, he has created solutions to overcome the specific mindset challenges that triathletes face.

These solutions have been tried and tested with the triathletes that he works with ranging from age groupers to professionals.

In this episode we:

· discuss why mental performance is important

· hear about ways to reduce stress and create sustainable habits to become mentally tougher
