Welcome to Protecting Your Nest with Dr. Tony Hampton. Dr. Tony met Mayra Perez on the recent Low Carb Cruise. Mayra’s son had a major cyst in his head and, though this cyst was successfully remove through surgery, he was left with damage to his brain. One of the worst manifestations of this brain damage was epileptic seizures. Since discovering the keto diet as a therapy for epilepsy, her son has not had to go to the ER for a seizure in 8 years.
