In an industry where the gender wage gap is even larger than the national average, achieving pay equality might seem like a Herculean task. One company shows how it’s possible.

On this episode, host Juliet Helmke speaks with Rebecca Kerr, chief operating officer of Little Real Estate, who reveals the strategy that allowed the company to be one of very few in the industry that can boast a gender wage gap of 0 per cent.

Rebecca shares some of the strategies that had to be implemented to help the company reach this important milestone – including its method for pay transparency – and discusses the reason why such a discrepancy between what men and women are paid still exists within the sector.

She also shares how Little Real Estate has tackled culture and retention, using its structure as a large independent agency to its advantage.
