The Perfect Video Recipe for YouTubeThe perfect video recipe to grow your YouTube channel begins with understanding what your audience is interested in. What’s on people’s minds? It’s about being current, relevant, and understanding the zeitgeist. Whoever understand the viewer best wins!

Here’s Sean’s Perfect Video Recipe:

· The Big Idea: The topic, title, thumbnail

Topic: Choose the right topic at the right time. What’s on people’s minds? What are they searching for?

Title: What is your video actually about? For example, what is your sermon series on Elijah about? Courage? God’s provision? Title your video to answer the questions people are asking on YouTube.

· The Hook

The opening few seconds (or first few minutes) of your video should hook the viewer. Create curiosity or tension, tease what’s coming up, build credibility and get the audience bought in to watch more.

· The Content

Be brief. Be bright. Be fun. Be done.

· The Transition

Rather than letting the viewer know the video is ending, transition to another video. Agitate the next problem, provoke interest in the next thing, point them to more content on your channel.
