On the 107th episode of the Jiu-Jitsu Outlet podcast, I sit down with Jiu-Jitsu black belt Rasheed "The Blacc Ninja" Ford.
On this episode of the show, Rasheed shares his story of overcoming adversity utilizing Jiu-Jitsu. He discusses the loss of his wife and how this tragic event devastated his mental health. He was in a dark place in life but training in Jiu-Jitsu gave him an outlet for hope by introducing him to a great community.
Rasheed talks about his past and how training in martial arts helped him to improve his life off the mats. He was able to surround himself with healthy influences who were able to steer him onto the right path. We talk in this episode about what Jiu-Jitsu can do for the inner city youth and how those individuals might benefit from having the same experience as Rasheed.
