Hey, Sister-friend šŸ‘‹šŸ½
April is BIPOC Mental Health Month, and mental health is an essential part of well-being. To help raise awareness of how to approach mental wellness in Christian BIPOC Communities, today I have special guest Margaret L. Conley.

Margaret is the owner of MLC Consulting, LLC and the President of Mending Life Concepts Empowerment Group, Inc., which focuses on serving marginalized populations at the intersection of spirituality and emotional wellness.

Margaret has produced an evidence-based and clinically aligned theological method designed for use by clergy, academics and clinicians to help lead the conversation around Faith-Based Trauma in individual and community settings.

Margaret will share more about:

  • Some common cultural stigmas around BIPOC mental health
  • The impact of these factors on BIPOC attitudes toward mental health
  • How to break down mental health stigmas and barriers within Christian communities so BIPOC populations can enjoy an integration of spiritual and emotional wellness.

I hope this episode blesses you

With Healing and Love šŸ˜Š

Jenniel
