Angie began to experience the fulfillment a life of service can bring when she started volunteering at O.U.R. about 6 years ago. Her time there laid the ground work that led her to co-found The Opus Foundation. Her organization now works with local leadership in Uganda to provide education, rehabilitation and after-care for children that are the victims of ritualized abuse. The works is challenging and heart wrenching, but rewarding. But for many years, Angie held back from getting involved because of her past. And then one day she decided to simply own her own story... and that changed everything.
Angie is a compassionate, selfless, and a true powerhouse. Her story will help you see that even though we all have weaknesses, we should never let those stop us from living out our full potential and living a life of impact. You're going to love this episode!
