Good Luck with Everything with Michael Strassner
Actor and writer Michael Strassner vividly remembers his first drink.

At twelve years old, he downed five shots of vodka and was rushed to the hospital to have his stomach pumped.

The main thing he remembers from that experience was the relief that those drinks brought him.

"It felt like all that pain I was experiencing was numb now."

As time passed, Michael developed a passion for acting.

He started to see some success, landing roles on shows like Modern Family, Parks and Rec, and Black-ish, but his alcoholism was becoming dangerously progressive.

After multiple auditions for Saturday Night Live failed to pan out, Michael reached his tipping point.

His alcohol intake increased, he began to isolate himself, and eventually tried to commit suicide.

Thankfully he survived and was given the opportunity to get the help he needed.

Today Michael is almost 3 years sober.

You can connect with him on Instagram @strasshola and catch him in his latest roll in the Amazon Prime movie, "Good Luck with Everything."
