My Sober Compass with Arielle Dymant
Arielle is the CEO of My Sober Compass and a highly sought after recovery coach.
She recalls her addiction starting, not with substances but in the form of an eating disorder in her early teenage years.
At eighteen, she had her first sip of alcohol.
"It was this magical moment that cemented for me that alcohol was going to be a big part of my life."
Over the next few years, Arielle did her best to try and balance her progressing alcoholism with her work.
On the surface, life looked good, but on the inside, she felt as if she was slowly rotting away.
Things took a dark turn after coming off a bender and realizing she had written a suicide letter on her phone.
It was at that moment that a friend happened to reach out to ask if everything was okay.
Arielle wasn't okay, she needed help, and soon after, she entered treatment.
Today Arielle is over 5 years sober.
Her mission is to help people struggling with addiction learn powerful recovery strategies to break free from harmful behaviors and live a purpose-filled life in recovery.
