Emma is a distance-runner, writer, and activist who explores the intersection between agriculture and social justice. She recently graduated from Grinnell College, where she majored in Political Science and Environmental Studies and ran four years of Cross Country and Track and Field. Currently, Emma is conducting a year-long research and writing project, traveling around the western United States, and collecting stories from women in agriculture, with a particular focus on immigrant women. Aside from running, writing, and social justice, Emma enjoys getting lost in the woods, dogs with human names, and smashed bananas covered in peanut butter.
