Sheryl Sivell joins Kristin and Julianne to discuss herbal medicines used in practice to manage Autism. Sheryl has practiced Naturopathy for over 28 years and her clinical focus is on the whole family with special interests in chronic and complex cases. Having three children of her own and knowing how unique they each are, she practices the philosophy that ‘everybody’s body is different’ and with that in mind, each prescription is designed uniquely for that person. Sheryl is one of the primary Naturopaths at the Parkdale Wellbeing Clinic in Melbourne, Australia, and looks after many children in her practice, including patients with autism spectrum and neurodevelopmental disorders. Sheryl has a great love of herbal medicine, and utilises this modality extensively when treating her patients with autism.
