Too many of us look at self-discipline as a punishment rather than what it truly is -- an act of SELF-LOVE!
This episode is all about rewiring your thoughts around discipline to allow for an easy, sustainable, enjoyable flow as we step into the versions of ourselves that we are meant to be through growth, self-respect, and self-compassion.

Motivation: the reason for which humans and other animals initiate, continue, or terminate a behavior at a given time. Motivational states are commonly understood as forces acting within the agent that creates a disposition to engage in goal-directed behavior. Motivation is derived from the word 'motive', which denotes a person's needs, desires, wants, or urges.
Discipline: the ability to regulate one's emotions, thoughts, and behavior in the face of temptations and impulses. As an executive function, it is a cognitive process that is necessary for regulating one's behavior in order to achieve specific goals. Discipline is doing the things you said you were going to do despite resistance.

In this episode, I want you to be able to rewire your thoughts to consider discipline not as a punishment, but an act of self-love.
"If you want to be happy you have to love yourself, which means you have to discipline your behavior - the road to sustained happiness is through disciplining your behavior." - Will Smith
In this episode, Tessa discusses:
- how to create systems to allow for easier discipline
- using the power of your 'why' to eliminate friction and create loss aversion
- adjusting our identity to become a more disciplined person
