Meet Sam Wykes, a former professional Rugby player for NSW Waratahs.

After first connecting with Sam when working with the Waratahs during his final year of playing professional rugby it was clear that he had such a gift. He was always able to make others around him feel welcome, connected, and feel as though they belong.

From rugby to retirement, Sam explores what this transition out of professional sport has looked like and what challenges it presents to both his everyday life and sense of identity. We absolutely adore how Sam was able to let us in on both the vulnerable side of this transition as well as a few funny unexpected struggles of life after sport. So be sure to tune in for those because they will be a hoot.
