On this week’s episode I talk with Sydney Melnick, the founder and owner of ‘My Creative Relief’. Sydney is an art therapist and creative coach who helps creatives who feel burnt out in their lifestyle who want a positive and balanced well-being.

We discuss:

  • Sydney’s first connection to art in her Grandmother’s home and being completely fixated on the process.
  • Being lovingly encouraged by her family to pursue a career in the arts.
  • Trusting her own intuition and how she navigates through identifying the difference between that and the voices in her head.
  • Being introduced to the voices in her head and understanding her “selves”
  • Working with her voices through decision making and communicating her wants and needs
  • How she incorporates voices into Art Therapy
  • Developing a friendship with her inner critic
  • The Pusher and Do-er voice
  • Developing compassion for yourself
  • What creativity can do for your wellbeing
