Welcome to this episode of our podcast where we will be discussing the topic of youth strength training. Our focus will be on the importance of movement literacy in kids and how to teach them to be strong.

As parents, coaches, or educators, we all want our children to grow up healthy and strong. However, we often overlook the importance of teaching kids how to move correctly before and/or while they begin their journey into sports. Movement literacy, or the ability to move efficiently and effectively, is a fundamental skill that kids need to develop before they start specializing in sports.

In this episode, we will be joined by expert guest, Coach Devin from Function Health Club, who will share his knowledge and experience on the topic of youth strength training. Hey will discuss the benefits of teaching kids movement literacy, and how it can help prevent injuries and improve overall athletic performance.

We will also explore different ways to introduce strength training to kids, including bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, and light weights. Coach Devin will provide tips and advice on how to make strength training fun and engaging for kids, while also ensuring that they are doing it safely and correctly.

Finally, we will discuss the importance of creating a supportive environment for kids to develop their strength and fitness. Coach Devin will provide insights on how to encourage kids to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle, and how to help them build confidence and self-esteem through physical activity.

Whether you are a parent, coach, or educator, this episode will provide valuable insights on how to help kids develop movement literacy and become strong, healthy, and resilient individuals.
Join us as we explore the world of youth strength training and learn how to help our kids reach their full potential.
