Liam is a little under the weather for this week's episode, but he won't let that prevent a trip around the multiverse, along with Cal for an Elseworlds review of 2004's The Batman series and the episode titled "The Joining Part One." Hear the hosts talk about the introduction of a larger world to this version of the Batman as the universe expands to include a certain Manhunter from Mars. Hear the hosts discuss the voice actors and how well they handled some of the sillier dialog for the episode, the homage to the legendary Darwyn Cooke, which part felt straight out of Batman '66 and more tributes to one of the most popular Batman movie franchises of all time. Plus the hosts discuss renaming this episode to Batman v. Manhunter: Dawn of Justice, plot points that are hinted at and paid off immediately and how the invading villain for this episode is relevant to 2023. All of this and more await you on this first part review on the DCAU Review!
