Ahead of the world premiere in Hong Kong, we talk to documentary filmmakers Robin and Ben Lee about their latest project, Four Trails. Following the success of their 2017 project, Breaking 60, the two brothers return to this most iconic of Hong Kong trail running events to tell a more complete story. Four Trails documents the 2021 edition of HK4TUC, which saw previous Finishers and Survivors invited back, with some wondering if the previously unthinkable 50-hour barrier might finally be broken. We also talk to challenge founder Andre Blumberg, in advance of the 2023 edition.
