Rachel Awad lives in Cairo Egypt and is an expat from the US. In today's episode we recap Rachels journey and what has transpired over the last two years since she was last on the podcast in episode 6. We delve into ADF and OMAD and the differences that Rachel has found from both protocols. Rachel is experienced with intermittent fasting and has served as a moderator in popular online fasting communities. Rachel has had some ups and downs on her fasting journey over the past two years as she shares candidly in this episode. As a long-term faster, two of Rachel’s key messages are 1) give yourself grace. IF isn’t about quick weight loss or perfection – it’s about clean fasting as it fits into your life. And 2) learning to recognize satiety and closing your window when you feel those signals is lifechanging, especially for those of us who have been struggling with overeating for much of our lives.
