In this week's episode, I have the honor of chatting with Christina V. Rodriguez who is the founder of Latinas With Masters. Christina brings in Big Latinx energy into this episode and is so inspiring that you are not going to be able to press pause until you finish hearing her speak.

Christina V. Rodriguez is a first-generation Latina, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her family is from Nicaragua and is proud to represent her Nicaraguan culture and heritage in spaces where there is lack of Central American representation. She is an wife, mother of 2, dogmom, edu-creator, inspirational speaker, podcaster, advocate, entrepreneur, storyteller and scholar who embraces a multi-cultural and equity mindset with a strong commitment in creating equitable opportunities for Women of Color in Business, Housing & Academia.

Rodriguez received her Bachelor’s degree in Latino/a Studies from San Francisco State University and went on to receive her Master’s degree (MBA) with an emphasis in Marketing at Notre Dame de Namur University. She is currently pursing her doctorate in Education from Mills College and provides 15+ years of marketing and housing experience in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Christina has this to say about Latinas with Masters: What started as an online community to support each other’s journey during graduate school authentically became a counterspace and culture of belonging for multi-generational and multi-cultural Latinx navigating higher education. Established in July of 2020, Latinas with Masters continues to create partnerships with colleges and universities to recruit and admit more Women of Color within their academic programs which in return provides a culture of belonging because #RepresentationMatters.
