Ethical, “conscious” fashion is a movement that I've been curious to learn more about, so I was excited to invite Sustainable Fashion Advocate, Lara Doll Kennedy, onto the podcast today to talk about it! Lara shares how The True Cost documentary completely changed her approach to shopping and inspired her to create a masterclass community called The Wardrobe Edit where she shares her learnings and personal styling advice with other women. We discuss her tips for secondhand shopping, her take on capsule wardrobes, emotional attachment to clothing and sizes, why re-selling is better than donating, and Lara’s love for unique vintage finds. Lara is the host of the Jesus + Juliet podcast, which just began its second season this month, so be sure to give it a listen! And, you can join the waitlist for her masterclass through the link in her Instagram bio at @laradollkennedy.
