Have you ever thought of laughing as meditation? Your belly is squeezing and you are wheezing, you are totally in that moment. Did you know your brain doesn't know the difference between laughing on purpose and natural laughing? Think of Santa Claus "ho ho ho". Here to teach us the science behind laughter yoga and do a demo with us, we have Dr Laura Collatz.

Laura has a cool story, she was a hygienist who went on to dental school and now is doing dentistry and laughter yoga! One day her Vagus nerve went haywire and as she put it "her brain stopped playing nice with the rest of her body" she had to relearn how to use her body and relearn basic things like breathing! In her search to heal her brain she got interested in the vagus nerve. One of the modalities they recommended was laughter yoga. She will be hosting a laughter yoga retreat in Puerto Rico which we will link as soon as she has it.

To find Laura online on Facebook Laura Collatz and her office is in Pittsboro, North Carolina https://enchantingsmilesdentistry.com/team/dr-collatz/
