Mari Dickerson is an integrative coach and psychotherapist specializing in women's health, trauma, and spirituality. She holds a master's degree in clinical social work from NYU and has worked in the mental health and healing field for over ten years. As a multi-passionate healer, Mari has training in yoga, meditation, reiki, psychoanalysis, addiction treatment, EMDR and women's health and hormones. In her work with women, Mari integrates the basics of menstrual health and body literacy with trauma work and supportive coaching to help female clients reduce symptoms, get in touch with their intuition, and find their feminine power.

In this episode, we talk about how Mari first made the connection between hormones and psychology, why she takes a very different approach from traditional mental health therapy, the history of hysteria and its connection to patriarchal oppression, bridging the gap between the mental health and health coaching fields, and so much more!
