This week we speak with Gabriel Jarquin, Experience Director of Toronto’s Pride and Remembrance Run. Gabriel started running in elementary school and says that he found it to be a safe space as a young gay kid. After a hiatus from the sport in his 20’s, he has rediscovered his love of running and took on his new role with the Pride Run in this, the 25th anniversary of the event. In this episode we chat about the history and significance of the Pride and Remembrance Run, the challenges of going virtual, and how this year’s party will be as fun, fast and fabulous as ever.
