This week we speak with Leslie Sexton, coming off her win, personal best and course record at the Philadelphia Marathon. Leslie has enjoyed a successful career on the track, cross-country courses, and roads: she was a standout at Queen's University, and went on to win the Canadian Marathon Championships in 2017. But one major goal has eluded the 34-year-old: representing Canada at a World Championship or Olympic Games. With her 2:28:34 performance in Philly, she’s now in a great position to make that dream a reality in Eugene next summer. In this episode we talk about her remarkable season and about the value of range in training and racing.
