Hold onto your handlebars! We're veering off the beaten path with CTS Coach Jason Siegle to explore absurd cycling challenges. He's days away from completing a 120-day challenge to ride a mile for every 100 Instagram followers. He's here to share the highs and lows of his journey, what he's learned, and how absurd challenges can be helpful to other cyclists.
Key topics in this episode:

  • Jason Siegle's cycling challenge
  • Why cyclists embark on challenges that don't make much sense from a fitness or training perspective.
  • The benefits of absurd fitness challenges
  • How to manage challenges that dramatically increase training volume (e.g., Rapha's Festive 500).
  • Fueling for back-to-back and high-volume challenges
  • Solo or with groups?
  • The role of self care and good habits in the success for challenges
  • How to recover once you complete your challenge
