Major announcements, juicy rumors and a lot of laughs fill up the latest episode with Bobby Hill and Jay Washington! The biggest announcement is that we've signed a deal to bring you a weekly live version of our show on a new streaming network that's in conjunction with MTV, called Bidchat. We give you the lowdown on that and of course how to make sure you can tune in. Next, we get into some news going the opposite direction as we talk Suicide Squad and how the impact of DC's troubles have to be the reason behind the control that Dwayne Johnson has been given on Shazam, along with how rumors of trouble have even caused Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins to speak out. The Flash movie pushes forward with confirmation of additional Justice League member appearances and Henry Cavill teases us. Or does he? We also express some concern for Aquaman, after some recent comments by James Wan.

Powerless is in limbo as a their showrunner throws production into turmoil, but fortunately for DC, Arrow is bringing another seasoned vet on board, Dolph Lundgren, and we have news on Colton Haynes involvement in the show, while Bobby freaks out over whether Jay is going to inspire a million think-pieces with his suggestion on how to bring him back. Speaking of seasoned vets, Lance Henriksen joins Legends and we are excited about who he plays, Kevin Smith gets a proper Supergirl episode, and Flash (the Grant Gustin version) is going to be spending more time with Gorilla Grodd this season.

On the Marvel end of the spectrum, the highly anticipated, long-awaited series, The Runaways, is going to be the first Marvel live-action show on Hulu, and it at least sounds like they want to do it right. Agents of Shield adds Parminder Nagra and Mallory Jansen and we get into how they and Gabriel Luna's Ghostrider will impact the show. Punisher on Netflix is starting to seek it's cast, Natalie Portman discusses her Thor involvement, we talk about the changes being made to Captain Marvel and is Robert Downey Jr taking over Samuel Jackson's role with the Avengers? We close with news of Bokeem Woodbine possibly being yet another villain in the new Spider-Man movie, and Kyle Chandler & Mackenzie Davis' possible involvement in the next Deadpool. Continuing to bring you the best in live-action superhero news and info, it's The Trusty Sidekicks, on the Laugh Factory Podcast Network!
