Welcome to today’s interview on the Emotional Kids Summit.

In this engaging conversation, Audrey, a former classroom teacher turned math tutor, shares her journey and unique approach to helping students in math. Audrey opens up about her decision to leave the classroom and her impact as a tutor, not only in her state but internationally.

Audrey's personal struggle with math as a student gives her a unique perspective and empathy for her students. She understands the frustration and lack of confidence when faced with challenging math concepts. Audrey breaks down complex concepts into understandable terms as a translator between the student and the teacher, providing students with a solid foundation and alleviating their stress and anxiety.

The conversation also highlights the importance of building relationships with students and creating a safe space for learning. Audrey shares a touching story of a student who initially struggled with math but, with Audrey's guidance and patience, went on to achieve remarkable success. The student's transformation improved her grades, boosted her self-esteem, and opened up new possibilities for her future.
