Imagine retiring only to find yourself, a month later, taking on the responsibility of caring for your elderly, infirm parents who have moved in with you. This sudden shift can be overwhelming, as your time and energy are now devoted to their medical appointments, daily care, and emotional support. The dreams of leisurely hobbies and travel may have to be put on hold, replaced by the demanding yet rewarding role of a caregiver.
