Western States 100 race director Craig Thornley joins the show to talk about how the Western States Trail was impacted by the Mosquito Fire, and what it means for one of ultrarunning’s oldest events. The Mosquito Fire, the largest wildfire in California so far this year, burned nearly 77,000 acres, destroyed 78 structures and impacted nearly 16 miles of the Western States course.
