Karen returns to join Kate, Ed, and Dennis as we go over the 2nd disc of The Vision of Escaflowne. Funimation has finally released their version of the dub along with the original dub and Japanese track, but we'll go over the differences in a future episode. We talk about what gets included in the Collector's Edition just before going into the discussion of episodes 5-8. We discuss Van's flying skills, Folken's reveal, some Ocean Group dub differences, fossil fuel economy of Gaia, one of the best, non-damsel in distress rescues in anime, Millerna's introduction, insert song CD promotion from Maaya Sakamoto, pager reception, and proper wing cleaning. We also go over one of the silliest bonus features ever: Club Escaflowne, the first of many. Thanks again to special guest Karen (Rya Cosplay) for joining us again Dennis: @ichnob | Diana: @binkxy | Ed: @ippennokuinashi | Eve: @eve_il | Kate: @TaikoChan | Sam: @EssFive Website | Email | Facebook | Twitter | iTunes | Stitcher | Google Play Music | Blubrry | RSS
