"Living in the AND"
Losing a child is unthinkable, unimaginable. The weight of the sadness is exhausting, the journey of the grief is daunting, and finding others who understand without saying a word is priceless.
In this first episode of the Warrior Moms podcast, we, Amy Durham and Michele Davis, discuss who they are, how they met, who their beloved children they lost are, and how they found the Warrior Moms.
Please note that we are taking on the "learn as you go" approach, so we promise, we will improve, but know that this is from the heart. It is a club no one wants to be in. Finding one another and sharing our stories not only helps to memorialize our children, but it gives us purpose for having to endure such heartache.
We hope you will join us through this journey, share this with others, offer this to friends or family who have lost loved ones too soon, and find out that grief and joy can co-exist. This is what we call: living in the AND, fighting each day to survive and thrive.
