If you’re like me, you were watching the Olympic Men’s gymnastics rings event this morning and you were thinking, “I could never do that”. Or maybe you were thinking, “It must be nice to just be able to do nothing except exercise all the time. If I could do that, I’d finally be thin.” Or maybe, “I would have made a great pole vaulter if I’d tried.” It turns out that none of those thoughts really helps us on our health and fitness journey-adventure. But what if there were some things that “regular people” could learn from Olympic Athletes? This week, with the help of an article by Joe Kita on WebMD, Catherine and Donald break down some mindset perspectives used by top athletes that you can apply to your own daily life. Plus, Catherine is better than an article writer, Donald has tendency separation surgery, and most sporting events teach us nothing.
